OEM & ODM Overview
OseaGuard Tech is a direct manufacturing facility specializing in commercial-grade marine safety equipment and personal flotation devices (PFDs). Operating out of our dedicated production base, we manage the entire manufacturing chain from raw textile processing to final pressure testing.
We partner with global marine equipment brands, commercial distributors, and offshore engineering contractors to deliver end-to-end OEM and ODM solutions. By maintaining strict adherence to SOLAS, LSA Code, and ISO standards, we translate client technical drawings or functional requirements into certified, market-ready safety gear with full traceability.
OEM & ODM Product Scope
Our manufacturing capabilities cover three core categories engineered for heavy-duty marine and industrial environments:
Commercial Inflatable Life Jackets: 150N, 275N, and custom buoyancy configurations featuring UML, Halkey-Roberts, or hydrostatic release mechanisms (HR Smith), built for commercial shipping and offshore wind operations.
SOLAS Immersion & Worksuits: Thermal protection suits constructed with flame-retardant outer shells and waterproof inner membranes, certified for emergency evacuation and marine survival.
Marine Safety Accessories: SOLAS-approved buoyant lifebuoys, LED rescue lights, retro-reflective harness webbing, and specialized emergency beacon pouches.
Customization Options
We engineer physical properties, structural layouts, and material compositions to align with specific tender specifications and regulatory jurisdictions:
Textile Engineering:
420D/840D PU-coated Nylon, heavy-duty Cordura tactical fabrics, flame-retardant outer shells, and high-visibility yellow/orange textiles conforming to EN ISO 20471.
Hardware Integration:
316-grade stainless steel D-rings, corrosion-resistant YKK/Duraflex quick-release buckles, whistle attachments, and SOLAS-grade retro-reflective tapes.
Ergonomic Layouts:
Custom pocket placement for Personal Locator Beacons (PLBs), modular webbing for tools, and adjustable waist/chest girth configurations.
Private Label & Branding
Protect and scale your brand identity through our robust private label manufacturing protocols:
Branding Execution: Silk-screen printing, heat transfer, high-frequency logo embossing, and durable rubber patches securely stitched to critical stress points.
Compliance Labeling: Woven serial-number tracking tags, care instruction labels, and custom compliance markings featuring your corporate identity and regulatory metadata.
Export Packaging: Individual moisture-resistant polybags with desiccants, heavy-duty 5-layer corrugated master cartons, and custom barcode (UPC/EAN) box labeling.
Project-Based Custom Manufacturing
For clients developing proprietary safety solutions, our engineering team executes a controlled project pipeline:
1. Technical Specification Audit: Reviewing CAD drawings, 3D models, or benchmark physical samples for structural feasibility.
2. Material Sourcing & Compliance Check: Selecting certified raw components that meet target standards (e.g., ISO 12402, SOLAS, USCG).
3. Prototyping & Ergonomic Testing: Fabricating functional prototypes within 7 to 10 business days for mechanical, buoyancy, and fit evaluations.
4. Pilot Batch Validation: Small-scale production runs to verify tooling precision, assembly line efficiency, and initial quality checkpoints.
OEM & ODM Development Process
[Technical Brief & RFQ] -> [Engineering & Feasibility Audit] -> [Prototype Fabrication] -> [Lab & Stress Testing] -> [Pilot Run Verification] -> [Mass Production & 100% QC] -> [Export Logistics]
Brief Submission: Client submits drawings, target quantities, and destination regulatory reuirements.
>>
Feasibility Review: Our technical team evaluates seam geometry, buoyancy distribution, and release mechanism compatibility.
>>
Sample Sign-off: Prototypes undergo internal mechanical stress tests before dispatching to the client for physical sign-off.
>>
Full-Scale Execution: Standardized, traceable manufacturing initiated upon final sample approval.
Quality Control for OEM & ODM
Quality verification is integrated directly into our production workflow to ensure zero failure rates in life-critical scenarios:
Raw Material Testing: Tensile strength tests for webbing, hydrostatic head testing for waterproof membrane fabrics, and 48-hour salt-spray corrosion tests for all metal hardware.
In-Process Monitoring: High-frequency (HF) welding seam integrity inspections and automated pressure-retention tests on inflation chambers (24-hour continuous hold test).
Finished Product Verification: 100% individual pressure and leak testing of manufactured inflation bladders, buckle pull-force verification, and random sampling dispatched to independent laboratories (e.g., BV, SGS, DNV) for type-approval audits.
Packaging & Export Requirements
Marine safety gear requires specialized packaging to prevent moisture degradation and structural distortion during intercontinental maritime shipping:
Each unit is vacuum-sealed or packaged in heavy-gauge polyethylene bags containing industrial-grade desiccants.
Packed in 5-layer export-grade corrugated boxes reinforced with heavy-duty strapping bands to withstand rough port terminal handling.
Accompanied by Material Test Reports (MTR), certificate of origin, packing lists, and third-party inspection reports (on request).
