The Ningnan County Public Cultural Service Center, jointly funded by government investment, special bonds, and Three Gorges local development funds, is a key public welfare project in Ningnan County with a total investment of 165 million yuan. Commenced in August 2023, it took 540 calendar days to construct with meticulous care. Ouxidun waterproof polymer materials were selected to comprehensively address the waterproofing challenges of the venue's underground garage and exhibition hall roof.
Exhibition areas: libraries, museums, cultural centers, urban planning museums, cultural and creative souvenirs, and shared service spaces. Museum collections and library paper books have extremely high requirements for moisture and seepage prevention, as even minor leakage can cause permanent damage to the collections. Multi-functional event venues experience high pedestrian traffic, and their roofs are exposed to prolonged sunshine and rain, making weather resistance and waterproofing essential core requirements for the project.
Underground supporting space: Underground parking lot, equipped with charging piles and outdoor pipe network landscape. The underground garage is exposed to groundwater and rainwater inflow all year round, making the floor and exterior walls highly susceptible to cracking and water seepage. Highly extensible and anti-cracking polymer waterproof materials are required as the foundation for seepage prevention.
The entire building integrates cultural exhibitions, public leisure, and underground parking. The waterproofing project directly determines the decades-long service life of the venue. After multiple rounds of screening and comparison, the general contractor of the project finally selected Osea Guard waterproofing membrane as the main supplier of waterproofing materials for the project.

The floor slabs, side walls, post-cast strips, and internal and external corners of the underground garage in the project all utilize Ouxidun 1.5mm high molecular rubber (TPR) waterproofing rolls, which come in three specifications to accommodate different construction areas:

✅ 1.5mm 1-meter-wide TPR waterproofing membrane, with narrow-width rolls that can be flexibly cut, perfectly fits irregular and complex nodes such as pile heads, post-cast strips, internal and external corners of walls, ensuring seamless sealing without any dead spaces.
✅ 1.5mm 1-meter-wide TPR self-adhesive waterproofing membrane comes with a self-adhesive layer, eliminating the need for open flame hot melting during construction. It ensures safer construction in underground enclosed spaces, provides stable bonding strength, and shortens the project construction period.
