Description
Technical Parameters

Cement-based penetrating crystalline waterproof coating is a powdered waterproof material made primarily of silicate cement and quartz sand, mixed with active chemical substances, polymer compounds, and various additives. The product meets the requirements of GB18445-2012 Cement-based Penetrating Crystalline Waterproof Materials.

Product Features

1

Dual waterproofing function and excellent self-healing ability;

2

Superior self-breathing function;

3

Good resistance to temperature, moisture, aging, UV radiation, carbonation, and radiation;

4

The coating is resistant to corrosion from various chemicals, significantly improving the durability of concrete;

5

The waterproofing system forms an integral part with the concrete;

6

Plastering, painting, or tiling can be applied directly to the waterproof layer; even better results when used in conjunction with OXD-T waterproof membrane;

7

Meets environmental standards, non-toxic, non-polluting, and harmless.

Applications

Mainly used for waterproofing projects of concrete structures such as basements, integrated pipe corridors, subway tunnels, sewers, elevator shafts, reservoir dams, and swimming pools.

Construction Method

Mix the material with water at a ratio of 0.31 (by weight) to form a cement mortar consistency for application. The general dosage is 1.5 kgm² (1.0 mm thickness). For special areas or according to design requirements, the dosage may be 1.8–2.5 kgm². The paint should be thoroughly mixed to ensure there are no small lumps. Mix only the amount needed. The mixed paint should be used within 30 minutes; under high-temperature conditions, this time should be shortened accordingly.

Common application methods for the paint include brushing, roller application, scraping, trowel application, spraying, and dry powder application. 1. For both brushing and roller application, the application should be completed in two coats, with an interval of 2-3 hours between coats. Apply the coating in both directions (front and back). Other application methods can be completed in one coat.

For concrete surfaces with voids, cracks, or honeycomb-like defects, repair is necessary. In particular, mortar drips should be removed. All debris, including mud, loose material, and oil, must be removed from the substrate before application. The substrate must be kept sufficiently moist during brushing; sometimes, spraying water while brushing is required to maintain moisture.

This product has a unique moisturizing effect. Generally, it is recommended to spray water for moisturizing within 6-8 hours after application, 2-3 times daily, followed by another curing session every other day (do not use water retention for moisturizing).

Storage Method This product should be stored in a dry, well-ventilated, and cool place, strictly preventing moisture absorption.
