Two-component polyurethane waterproof coating is a two-component reaction-curing polymer waterproof coating. Component A is a prepolymer made from polyether and isocyanate as the main materials, while component B is a mixture of various additives and fillers. Components A and B are mixed evenly in a specific ratio, applied to the substrate, and cured to form a monolithic and elastic waterproof film. The product meets the requirements of GB/T19250-2013 "Polyurethane Waterproof Coating".
Features of Two-component Polyurethane Waterproof Coating
Cures at room temperature, fast curing speed, and easy application.
Strong adhesion, high elongation, high tensile strength, and good elasticity, allowing application on irregular and complex substrates.
Good rubber elasticity and resilience, strong resistance to substrate deformation (shrinkage and cracking).
Resistant to water erosion, chemical erosion, and mildew.
Applications of Two-component Polyurethane Waterproof Coating:
- Underground structures: subways, tunnels, basements, pits, elevator pits, pipes, concrete slabs, etc.
- Roof waterproofing: Flat roofs, sloping roofs, green roofs, and pitched roofs with concrete, wood, steel, or asbestos structures.
- Interior and exterior walls, retaining walls, bathrooms, kitchens, non-potable water tanks, swimming pools, flower beds, and drains.
- Expansion joints, construction joints, and deformation joints.

Two-component polyurethane waterproof coating application method
• Substrate requirements: The substrate surface should be firm, free of sand, dust, laitance, and construction debris. Remove any protruding mortar lumps, and fill any depressions with polymer mortar.
• Mix the coating according to the specified weight ratio and stir thoroughly.
• Use a rubber squeegee or bristle brush to apply the prepared material to the substrate, ensuring even application to achieve a uniform coating thickness.
• Apply the coating in 2-3 coats or more, with an interval of approximately 12 hours between each coat (based on surface drying time).
• For underground waterproofing projects, the waterproof layer should be applied to the water-facing side as much as possible to prevent it from peeling off the substrate due to high groundwater pressure.
• Approximately 1.7 kg/m² of coating is required to apply a 1 mm thick film.

Precautions for Two-component Polyurethane Waterproof Coating
• The interval between the second coat should be adjusted according to the temperature, ideally until the coating is no longer tacky to the touch.
• The application temperature should be between 5-35℃. Do not apply in rainy or snowy conditions. Apply in the morning only after the dew has dried.
• Apply under well-ventilated conditions. Appropriate safety precautions should be taken by the application personnel.
Storage and Transportation of Two-component Polyurethane Waterproof Coating
• Different types of products should be stacked separately during storage and transportation. Keep away from fire sources, avoid direct sunlight and rain, prevent collisions, and ensure adequate ventilation. Storage temperature: 5℃~40℃.
• This product must be stored upside down during storage and transportation.
• Under normal storage and transportation conditions, the shelf life is 6 months from the date of production.
