Polymer waterproof coating is a high-performance, chloride-free, tack-resistant waterproof coating produced through a special process. It is formulated with ultrafine, suspended modified anionic emulsified asphalt and synthetic polymers (Component A), then mixed with a special demulsifier (Component B) in a mist form outside the equipment nozzle. The mixture undergoes a demulsification reaction on the structural surface, resulting in a product that meets the requirements of T/CECS10084-2020 "Water-based Sprayed Tack-resistant Polymer Waterproof Coating" or T/CBMF84-2020 "Polymer-modified Asphalt Water-based Sprayed Waterproof Coating".
Features of Polymer Waterproof Coating:
After forming, the product does not harden upon prolonged contact with air, maintaining an elastic-plastic state. It is tacky upon contact and difficult to peel off.
Excellent weather resistance. It does not crack at -30°C and does not flow at 160°C. It also possesses excellent resistance to acid, alkali, and salt chemical corrosion, meeting the needs of various extreme environmental engineering projects.
Excellent creep resistance. It can solve problems such as waterproofing layer fracture, flexural fatigue, or premature aging under high stress caused by substrate cracking and stress transfer. Simultaneously, the excellent viscosity of the creep-type material allows it to effectively seal the capillaries and cracks in the substrate, solving the problem of water seepage in the waterproofing layer and significantly improving waterproofing reliability.
Excellent adhesion performance. It can form seamless full adhesion with different substrates and different types of roll materials, exhibiting excellent compatibility and re-adhesion. When applied in combination with roll materials on vertical surfaces, it ensures that the coating does not drip and the roll material does not detach or slip.
Energy-saving and environmentally friendly. From raw material procurement, production, warehousing, transportation, sales, construction, and use, it contains no volatile organic compounds, is non-toxic and odorless, produces no waste, and has no exhaust gas emissions or pollution. Its environmental performance meets the Class A requirements of JC1066-2008 "Limits of Hazardous Substances in Building Waterproof Coatings".
Chloride-free. Most similar products on the market use calcium chloride as a demulsifier. Chloride ions damage the passivation film on the surface of the reinforcing steel, causing localized corrosion and catalyzing the corrosion process. This product uses a chloride-free demulsifier system.
Safe and efficient construction. Room temperature cold spraying application; no heating required, no open flame, and no standing water on the substrate is needed for application.
Mechanized construction; one person per day with one machine can spray over 1000 square meters. The construction efficiency advantage is particularly significant when applied to irregular structures and complex substrates.
Polymer waterproof coating application scope
Polymer waterproof coating is suitable for underground and roof waterproofing projects in various industrial and civil buildings, subways, tunnels, and pipe corridors. It can be used in combination with hot-melt membranes or self-adhesive membranes to form a membrane + coating composite waterproofing system, offering unique advantages for side walls and pitched roofs.

Polymer Waterproof Coating Application Methods and Processes
Substrate Preparation: Remove loose dust, loose materials, oil stains, through-wall steel wires, and sharp rebar protrusions from the substrate. Grind the concrete surface and exposed rebar ends smooth, ensuring it is clean, dust-free, and free of standing water.
Substrate Local Treatment: Seal cracks and areas within a 10cm radius of exposed rebar ends using a hand-applied liquid rubber waterproof coating, ensuring a dense, smooth, and edge-free finish. For corners, pipe roots, and other areas requiring additional waterproofing layers, reinforce key waterproofing areas with a hand-applied liquid rubber waterproof coating applied to adhere waterproof membrane (at least 100mm wide).
For large holes, depressions, and gaps larger than 2mm in the substrate, smooth them with 1:2.5 cement mortar. For critical areas, seal with cement polymer mortar to improve substrate strength.
After the base layer has passed inspection and the additional layer has been treated, non-curing liquid rubber coating can be applied to the large surface using scraping or spraying.
During on-site acceptance measurement, the inspection should be conducted within a single project of 5000m². For every 100m², use calipers to check at least two locations, and the average number of membrane samples should not be less than 80%. For single projects exceeding 10000m², the measurement can be increased by multiples based on the actual situation. Pay attention to checking at least three details of the waterproofing.
Polymer waterproof coating storage and transportation
This product is a non-flammable and non-explosive material. TWE flat surface cold-applied non-curing adhesive coating can be transported as general oil-based coatings. TWE vertical surface water-based non-curing adhesive coating should be protected from sunlight, freezing, rain, squeezing, and collisions during transportation, and the packaging should be kept intact.
This product should be stored in a well-ventilated, dry place, away from direct sunlight. The storage temperature should be between 5 and 35℃. Shelf life: 6 months.
